The band rise from the Gazel family and her passion towards American music of the 50's. Eddie Gazel (singer) and her father Thierry Gazel (double bass) used to play in duo.

In December 2010 Marcelo joins the band to play drums and soon they start playing regularly.

In June 2011 they decide to record some songs. That's when the saxophonist Remy joins the band.

Olbry record his first album in February 2012. An album with a very particular sound where they go through the blues, rock and roll, soul, Doo Wap their own songs too.

On May 2012, they meet Diego a very experienced and professional musician who became the lead guitarist.
Since they recorded his album OlBry has a busy schedule, have already played in the best clubs of Paris and the New Morning and festivals Bethune Retro, Good rocking festival in Atignat

La banda Ol bry se forma en el 2010. Comienza siendo dos personas, Eddie a la voz y Thierry al contrabajo y a los coros.

En Diciembre del 2010 Marcello se incorpora a la bateria.

Ol bry va ampliando su repertorio a medida que tocan en conciertos y fiestas privadas. En Junio del 2011 dediden grabar un cd canciones, sera en este momento en el que Remy el saxofonista se une a la banda. En Mayo del 2012 conocen a Diego el espanol que sera su guitarra solista.

Ol Bry es un grupo basada en el sonido de la musica americana de los anos 50, rhythm and blues, Rockabilly, Doo Wop. Su sonido es una mezcla de todas estas influencias mas su propio estilo, en el cual incluyen composiciones originales

Formé en janvier 2010, le groupe comprend alors deux membres, Eddie au chant et à la guitare et Thierry à la contrebasse et aux choeurs.

C'est en décembre de la même année que Marcelo le batteur les rejoint.
 
Les Ol' Bry commencent à parfaire leur répertoire tout en jouant dans différents concerts et soirées privées (Fête de l'Huma, Fête de la ville de Bonneuil...). Quand ils décident d'enregistrer quelques morceaux en juin 2011, ils s'adjoignent la présence de Remy au saxophone qui restera avec eux. En mai 2012 ils rencontrent Diego qui deviendra leur guitariste soliste.

Amoureux de la musique des années 50, leur répertoire comprend des chansons puisées dans le Rhythm and blues, le Rockabilly ou le Doo Wop. Ils mélangent les genres tout en gardant une unité. Ne s'arrêtant pas aux reprises, ils composent également des morceaux originaux.

Eddie - Singer / Guitarist

 The youngest of the group, although rocked at a young age by the Rock'n'Roll (Rockabilly, Doo Wop ...), After been in a rock androll festival in Spain, and seeing Nick Curran, Eddie takes a slap and falls under the spell of timeless Rock'n'Roll and Rhythm & Blues, Little Richard is his idol, but he also admires most contemporary singers like JD McPherson, or groups such as Ghost Highway. Far from being daunted by his youth, he is the composer of original songs Ol 'Bry (music & vocals).

Remy - Saxophonist / Choirs

Begins the saxophone at the age of 9 years helped by a brother musician, investing in learning jazz as a teenager. Soon he learned other music styles like Reggae, Rhythm and Blues or Hip Hop groups in Seine et Marne. Nowadays he teaches saxophone, trombone and piano.

Marcelo - Drummer

Born in Brazil in 1970, Marcelo started playing music in the kitchen of his mother by banging on pots and pans. Arrived at the school, he joined a band and began studying drums with prestigious professors such as Pascoal Meirelles and Claudio Infante (the top Brazilian drummers), he specializes in the Bossa Nova and Rock. With Ol 'Bry (the bryoles at the time) he discovers the Rock'n'Roll and Rockabill. Two days after his meeting with Ol' Bry, Marcelo made his first concert.

Diego - Guitarist.

 
Originally from Spain. Diego has an amazing CV and knowledge of music. He has played all over Europe with different bands and line ups. After working professionally for 8 years in the south of England, Brighton and as a jazz guitarist and teacher. Diego decided to follow his wife (also a musician) in France. Without knowing where to put his Telecaster and a group seeking 100% Rock'n'Roll, Diego joints to Ol 'Bry, animated by the same desire to make this style of music.

Thierry - Doublebass / Choirs

 
The eldest of the group, since Thierry discovered the bass in the late 80s he has never stopped making music in different bands. In 2010, he started playing the doublebass with Eddie and create an acoustic duo who became The Ol 'Bry. Thierry loves 50s music ranging from Sam Cooke to Gene Vincent through the Rhythm and Blues and Doo Wop, he also appreciates the new Rock'n'Roll scene with singers such as Nick Curran wild or French Nico Duportal.
